“From every trial, a stronger, wiser, unstoppable you can be born—let’s find it together.”
My own journey has taught me that real strength is knowing when to ask for help and letting people in. Seeking support doesn’t make you weaker—it can make you stronger than you ever were on your own. I believe everyone has the ability to make it through their darkest days…even in the moments they’re not sure they want to.
As we work together, you can expect a relationship built on
trust,
friendship, and
zero judgment.
I will strive to help you feel safe enough to say anything—without fear or shame—knowing you will be met with care and respect. I am here to try and be what you need in the moment; whether that’s a shoulder to cry on, a listening ear, or someone to help keep your head above water when life feels overwhelming. Even if all you do is keep treading water for a while, I'll remind you that is something to be proud of.

My path has included navigating an array of difficult dynamics (a past marriage, divorce, custody battles, surviving domestic violence, managing financial struggles, and raising three kids as a homeschool mom).
Along the way, I’ve leaned on therapy, built a strong support system, and learned to keep moving forward even when life felt overwhelming. I’ve faced setbacks in the legal system and moments when nothing seemed to go in my favor. I had to learn to accept disappointment, adapt, and keep striving for what was best for me and my kids.
Through it all, I discovered my own resilience and strength that comes from simply living each day and facing what it brings. I let myself cry, brush off, stand up, and start over again and again with more determination. I also learned the importance of asking for and accepting support. That, even when life doesn’t go as planned, new directions and unexpected strength can emerge.
This journey allows me to support others with understanding, empathy, and no judgment. I know what it feels like to keep going when you can’t see any light at the end of the tunnel, and it makes everything I’ve been through more meaningful knowing I can help others facing similar struggles.
Walking alongside someone and reminding them they are not alone is deeply meaningful to me and the work I am called to do.
I’m here to help you find your own strength, explore new paths, access the resources you may need, and remember that even small steps and surviving tough days are victories.

My Approach to Peer Support
I believe that support is about meeting people where they are, without judgment, and walking beside them as they find their own path forward. Support means listening with empathy, sharing hope through lived experience, and reminding others that even in the hardest times, they are not alone.
I utilize my life experience to assist others by sharing understanding, offering encouragement, and creating a safe space where people feel seen and heard. My own journey has taught me resilience, and I use that perspective to help others discover their own strength and solutions.
I view mental health recovery as rising again and again, like a phoenix finding new strength after the fire. Some days it feels like just keeping your head above water and swimming one stroke at a time — and that’s still progress. Recovery isn’t about being perfect, it’s about choosing to keep going and discovering the power to rebuild and grow along the way.
Our time together will involve honest, heart-to-heart conversations where you can feel safe and heard. I’ll listen, share insights from my own experiences when it’s helpful, and support you as you find your own path forward—one step, one day at a time.
