“You have the ability to begin your journey. Its never too late”

My own journey taught me that sometimes  asking for help can feel like one of the most difficult steps you can take but it’s also the most rewarding.

With me, you can expect us to:

  • learn from each other as we walk our mental health journeys together.

  • I’m here to help you set reasonable goals and support you through them,

  • recognize your own strengths, and

  • help you identify your hurdles to overcome them.

I believe everyone has the ability to begin their journey at any time—its never too late.

My Approach to Peer Support

I believe that support is a way to discover yourself. By overcoming challenges, you decide who you are and who you believe you can be. Through honesty and acceptance, we can find out more about ourselves.

I utilize my lived experience to assist others by sharing coping skills and tools I’ve used to ground myself in reality when things feel hopeless. Together, we’ll discover what works for you.

I view mental health recovery as a winding path through the woods, an open highway, an up hill battle, and gently coasting down a mountain without a destination. Things that seem impossible may turn out to be a minor inconvenience and you may also find that some things are more complicated than you thought. No matter what your journey looks like, everyone is on a path and everyone struggles but no one has to be on it alone.

Our time together will involve a back and forth about how you would like to be supported through the struggles on your path, and what tools you may need to acquire your goals.
